Analysis of Inter-Agency Communication in Implementing Government Policy
Abstract
This study aims to investigate communication variables influencing policy implementation effectiveness among governmental agencies. The research employs a qualitative phenomenological approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and document analysis to explore perceptions and experiences of stakeholders involved in policy implementation. Findings highlight significant barriers such as inadequate communication infrastructure, cultural differences, and regulatory constraints that hinder effective inter-agency collaboration. Recommendations include enhancing technological capabilities, fostering a collaborative organizational culture, and developing flexible policies to facilitate smoother information exchange and decision-making processes across agencies. These insights contribute to enhancing the efficiency and coherence of policy implementation efforts through improved communication strategies and infrastructure.
