Abstract

This research aims to investigate the factors that influence work discipline at the Topejawa Village Office. Qualitative research methods were used by collecting data through structured in-depth interviews with nine informants selected purposively. The research results show that work discipline in the office is influenced by several main factors, including tardiness, participation in roll call activities, responsibility for completing tasks, use of rest time, and limited facilities. Apart from that, the application of disciplinary rules and awareness of the importance of work discipline also plays a significant role in shaping employee behavior patterns. The implication of this research is the need for a more systematic approach in fostering work discipline, improving infrastructure, and improving internal communication to improve performance and welfare in the workplace.
