Education and Training for Village Officials in the implementation of village government duties in Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency
Abstract
The Government of Gowa Regency in the context of improving the quality and quality of human resources, has carried out grading training and technical training for Village Government officials as an application of Law no. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, which deals with the education and training of village officials in the implementation of village government tasks in Pattalassang District, Gowa Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the education and training of village officials in the implementation of village government tasks in Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, documents and observations. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data processing and drawing conclusions. The result of the research is that education has an effect on but not so significant on the performance of village officials in the implementation of government tasks, the higher the level of education of an officer, the better their way of thinking in a positive direction. Trainings held for village officials are also very helpful for improving the performance of an official, because they can add insight and knowledge to village officials. However, the effect on performance is very small.
