Self-actualization of employees at the Public Works Office of Takalar Regency
Abstract
Self-actualization which is usually shown by employees in the form of a desire to improve their competence, increase in higher education levels, increase skills, actualize work experience and want to master work technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-actualization of employees at the Public Works Office of Takalar Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees at the Public Works Office of Takalar Regency which numbered 130 people. So the sample members to be examined in this study were 30 employees. Data collection techniques used in this study were to use questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results showed that the fulfillment of self-actualization needs which consisted of opportunities for increasing the competence, education, skills and mastery of technology of employees supported the increase in employee motivation at the Public Works Office of Takalar Regency.
