ANALYSIS OF POST PARTUM ANEMIA IN HEALTH CENTER IN PATTALLASSANG TAKALAR CITY

Abstract

The puerperium is a period of recovery, starting from completion of delivery to obstetric devices such as pre-pregnancy. The aim of the study was to analyze the incidence of post partum anemia based on the amount of bleeding during delivery at the Pattalassang Health Center Takalar. This type of quantitative descriptive research. The sample was 97 post partum mothers who gave birth and were served at the health center. The data collected is in the form of secondary data from recording and reporting at the Puskesmas. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that (1) the highest number of post partum mothers out of 97 people was found not to be at risk of anemia as many as 72  and at risk of anemia as many as 25  (2) Post partum out of 25 anemia events found most were not at risk of anemia if bleeding < 500 ml as many as 19 people and at risk of anemia if bleeding > 500 ml as many as 6 people (3) Post partum anemia of 25 events of postpartum anemia during pregnancy, the most were found not at risk of anemia during pregnancy as many as 18 people and at risk if there was a history of anemia during pregnancy as many as 7.
