Building Youth Awareness and Potential: The Role of the Makassar City KNPI in Implementing the Youth Law
Abstract
This research aims to investigate the role of the Makassar City Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) in supporting youth development in accordance with Law Number 40 of 2009 concerning Youth. The method used involves theoretical analysis and empirical data from KNPI Makassar activities in raising awareness, empowerment and developing youth potential. The research results show that KNPI Makassar has succeeded in playing a strategic role as a government partner in facilitating various programs that increase youth social, political, economic, cultural and religious awareness. With a comprehensive and collaborative approach, KNPI Makassar has succeeded in building the younger generation's awareness of social responsibility and an active role in community development, creating a strong foundation for future national development
