Overcoming Bureaucratic Hurdles: Career Development in Local Government Settings
Abstract
This study aims to identify barriers in career development at the Regional Secretariat of Pangkep Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach using observation and in-depth interviews. Findings reveal that the lack of integration in vision between employees and the organization, centralistic and rigid bureaucratic rules, and nonformal communication influenced by personal relationships are key barriers hindering career development
