Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of Good Governance at the Somba Opu District Office, Gowa Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews with sub-district employees, document analysis, and direct observation. The research results show that Somba Opu District has adopted Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to increase accountability and transparency in carrying out administrative tasks. The efficiency of public services is measured through the level of community satisfaction which reaches 100% and the more effective use of stimulant funds for community development. However, challenges such as limited availability of information, especially through inactive sub-district websites, as well as employee work motivation which is more focused on workload rather than community service spirit, still need to be overcome.
