10.36090 Analysis of the Application of Administrative Science to Increasing Personnel Creativity at the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the South Sulawesi Regional Police
Abstract
The systematic application of administrative science is a crucial instrument in directing human resources toward achieving effective organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the application of administrative science and its relationship with increasing the work creativity of personnel at the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the South Sulawesi Regional Police. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative research design. The research population includes all personnel in the relevant unit, with the sampling technique using saturated samples (total sampling) of 19 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and questionnaires using a four-category Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using the Product Moment correlation technique to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that the application of administrative science was in the "Fairly Good" category with an average value of 3.40, while the work creativity of the personnel was categorized as "Good" with an average value of 3.49. The statistical test results produced a correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.27, which indicates a positive relationship but is at a weak correlation level. The coefficient of determination value (R-Square) of 0.0729 indicates that the contribution of the application of administrative science to the variation in work creativity is 7.29 percent.
