The performance of the Takalar Regency Civil Service Police Unit
Abstract
Performance is the result or level of success of a person as a whole during a certain period in carrying out a task compared to various possibilities, such as work standards, targets or targets or criteria that are determined in advance and have been mutually agreed. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the apparatus of the civil service police in Takalar Regency. This study used survey research using a quantitative approach with an explanative objective, namely to explain the causal relationship and to test hypotheses. So that this research can provide generalizations with a very small error rate, and considering the population is only 71 people, this study uses a sampling technique, namely saturated sampling (census), where all members of the population are sampled. Thus the number of samples in this study was 71 people. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation and documentation. The researcher instrument statistical technique in the form of a checklist with the variables to be studied using a Likert scale. The results showed that the average performance of the Civil Service Police Unit of Takalar Regency was 80.33 with a percentage of 67%. To the officers of the civil service police unit to continue to strive to improve their performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
